In the present study, we examined the effects of oral administration of vanadate on the renal structure in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats, using morphometric technique. Sodium or-thovanadate (V) was administered in diabetic rats (0. 2mg/ml in drinking water) for 5 weeks. These findings suggest that chronic and oral administration of vanadate reduces significantly the severity of renal impairment in diabetic animals.

本实验用形态计量技术研究经口慢性给予钒酸钠对实验性糖尿病大鼠肾脏结构的影响。研究结果表明,投给钒酸钠可使糖尿病动物肾脏重量明显减轻,肾小球总体积显著减小。钒处理使近端小管和远端小管总体积恢复正常,并使已扩张的肾小管缩小。钒处理可使糖尿病大鼠已损伤的肾脏结构基本恢复正常。

This paper presents the observation on alkaline phospharases(AIP)and weight of the kidneys. The results shows that:the kidneys of the newly born rabbits have not yet matured and the renal corpuscle and the convoluted tubules in outer cortical area are at differentiation stage (the weight of the kidney by the 12—15th day are four times greater than at birth and AIP activity intensifies...

The results shows that:the kidneys of the newly born rabbits have not yet matured and the renal corpuscle and the convoluted tubules in outer cortical area are at differentiation stage (the weight of the kidney by the 12—15th day are four times greater than at birth and AIP activity intensifies and the differentiation of the kidney have completed; renal structure and activity of AIP varies with further development of this organ which begins to approach the characteristic pattern of the adult kidney in 20—25 day-old rabbits.

利用组织学、组织化学和电镜等方法观察了家兔肾脏生后发育过程中肾脏的重量、肾单位的显微结构、超微结构及碱性磷酸酶(AIP)的组织化学变化.结果表明,新生兔肾尚未成熟,外皮质区的肾小体和肾小管正处于分化阶段;12~15日龄幼兔肾脏分化基本完成,肾脏的重量比出生时增加四倍左右,AIP活性逐渐增强;20~25日龄幼兔肾脏发育逐渐成熟,肾单位的结构、AIP的活性强度与分布特点接近成年型.家兔在个体发育过程中,肾脏的发育具有明显的阶段性.
