The combination of 2,5-dimethylpyrrole and acidic compounds had largest negative effect on the stability of diesel fuels, particularly, when 2,5-dimethylpyrrole is combined with p-toluenesulfonic acid or 1-naphthol, the negative effect on the stability of diesel fuels was far more than that combined with alkyl cyclic acidic compounds.

Chemicals of various groups were assessed with respect to their effect in increasing the activity of fermentative liquid of Bt. Using leaf-dip bioassay, preliminary screened 46 chemical additives. The result indicated that 30 additives, including 11 alkaline compounds, 3 acidic compounds, 8 inorganic salts, 3 aromatic compounds, 5 protein solubilizing agents, were able to increase the efficacy of Bt at 1% concentration.
