In the present paper the levitation force of the magnetic fluid under the influnce of a magnetic field is theoretically calculated with Bernoulli equation, and on the basis of the superparamagnetic theory the functions of magnetic gradient, magnetic strength and property of the magnetic fluid on magnetic fluid levitation are analyzed. The process of magnetic fluid levitation is described. We tested with the magnetic fluid made by ourselves. The experimental results are consistent with the calculated results and description basically. The dense substances such as Pt and Pb were levitated successfully.

磁性液体直线型密封技术是一种新的密封技术,由于磁性液体密封装置本身不仅能完成直线运动的密封,而且能够代替转轴密封装置,实现直线加转动的密封,因而该种密封装置引起了人们的关注。本文着重论述了磁性液体直线型密封的基本结构和原理以及有关这方面的实验研究成果,还论述了磁性液体密封的特点以及应用的领域等。
