The average value of the third ventrcle of 60 adults is 2.30± 0.158mm, and the lateral ventricle is 2.25± 0.132mm.When B-mode ultrasonic scan is used to inspect the ventricles of the brain, the third ventricle image shows very excellently and the measurement is rather accurate. But the measurement for the lateral ventricles is not as good as the third ventricle.This is a new method to inspect the human cranium brain by B-mode ultrasonic scans. It is better than A-mode which is the main method to inspect the human brain in our country and abroad now. Under the condition that X-CT is not widely used in our country, this method has promising pratical value.

本文介绍了用B型(扇型)超声对正常成人脑室系统的检查、测量方法及脑室扩张的异常声象图,并附60例正常成人脑室系统的测值。 以颞骨鳞部为透声窗分别作水平切面及冠状切面扫查,并测量第三脑室及两侧脑室体部的内径。60例正常成人第三脑室平均值为2.30±0.168mm,侧脑室体部平均值2.25±0.132mm。B型超声检查脑室系统,第三脑室显示最佳,测量亦较准确。侧脑室体部的显示及测量精确度均略优于第三脑室。这是一种新方法,其准确性及对脑室系统的显示均优于A型超声(目前国内外仍主要以A型超声检查颅脑),在我国X-CT未能普及的情况下,此方法有较高的实用价值。

This paper reports the ultrasonographic examination of the intracranial structures. The diameter of the body of the lateral ventricle and the 3rd ventricle measured in 90 normal cases were <3mm. The remaining 262 cases clinically suspected to have intracranial disease revealed intracranial hemorrhage in 137 (52%), hydrocephalus in 85 (33%), subdural effusion in 32 (12% ), normal in 8 (3% ).

本文报道应用超声显象对352例新生儿及婴儿颅脑的检查结果。其中90例为正常组,测得其侧脑室体部及第Ⅲ脑室内径均为≤3mm;262例临床怀疑颅内病变组中,颅内出血137例(52%)、脑积水85例(33%),硬膜下积液32例(12%),未见异常8例(3%)。结果表明超声显象是诊断和随访新生儿及婴儿颅内疾病简易准确的方法。

精神分裂症伴有脑萎缩和脑室扩大屡见报道,但对精神分裂症侧脑室体部与额角之间的关系缺少进一步探讨。我们利用CT测量了180例精神分裂症患者侧脑室的大小即(A+B,D/A,F/E,G/E,G/A)与同年龄组的正常人对照,并进行统计学处理。结果表明:(1)随着年龄的增加,脑髓质逐渐萎缩,侧脑室逐渐扩大系生理性改变。(2)精神分裂症有着不同程度的侧脑室扩大,其中老年组以额角扩大为主,侧脑室体部无明显差异,而年青组脑室额角及体部均明显扩大,前者改变明显大于后者,充分提示了精神分裂症患者以额叶的脑髓质萎缩为主,即侧脑室额角代偿性扩大。因而应用侧脑室额角的大小推测侧脑室大小是较为可靠的指标,有着一定的临床意义。
