The bedrock slide is an important apptarance of the seismicity in Huoshan region. The small to medium shallow focus earthquakes occur frequently in this region, which is well-known as "the seismic window" of North China. The earthquakes have close relations to the change of stress field in North China and the bedrock sliding. The bedrock sliding has caused the occurence of earthquakes, while the Latter has given rise to the bedrock slide too.

霍山地区基岩滑坡与该区地震活动有重要联系。该区浅源中小地震十分频繁,是大华北有名的地震窗口,其原因既与大华北区域应力场变化息息相关、也与基岩滑坡密切有关。该区既因地震活动而发育基岩滑坡、又因基岩滑坡而产生地震活动。

In this paper, the method and ex ples are studied for predicting the original time, locality and magnitude of M6 earthquakes by using the network consisting of seismic windows in every earthquake prone area in Yunnan Province.

本文研究了利用云南各多震区震情窗口组成的网来预测6级以上强震时、空、强三要素的方法和震例。三个震例的分析结果表明,震情窗口网的建立和应用可以把对强震震中的预报缩小到100公里內,把对时间的预报集中到一个月左右,并能根据指标信息确定出相应震级,从而把震情窗口方法推进到更适用的阶段。

On April 17, 1990, a.Ms 6. 4 earthquake took place in Wuqia, Xinjiang, and on Nov. 12, 1990, a.Ms 6. 7 event occurred in Baiyishalon, USSR. Before the occurrence of the two quakes, obvious anomaly appeared at many seismic windows which near the epicenter in border area of China and USSR. Based on the anomaly, a short term prediction was made succesfully. 1990年4月17日和1990年11月12日,在中国新疆乌恰和苏联巴依沙隆分别发生6.4级和6.7级地震。位于震中附近的中、苏交界地区在两次地震之前有多个地震窗呈现出明显的异常,并据此作出了较好的短期预报。本文简述了预报过程,着重分析了多个地震窗的综合异常特征。最后讨论了所得结果可能的物理机制等问题。
