This paper sums up the computation results of stress-strain and stability analysis of 3rd stage cofferdam, conducted by Yangtze River Scientific Research Institute and other three units. This article also analyses the stability of the cofferdam in detail. Analyses demonstrate that the slope wall scheme is basically feasible andhat the stability of core wall scheme is relatively low.This paper provides valuable data for the design of the }hird stage cofferdam

三峡工程三期围堰为二期工程完工后在导流明渠上修建的围堰,设计拟采用粘土斜墙或粘土心墙方案。因整个围堰要求在一个枯水期完成,施工强度大、进度快,必然在粘土斜墙或心墙内产生较高的孔隙水压力,对堰体的稳定是不利的。在竣工期或蓄水期堰体是否会发生滑坡或斜墙(或心墙)的断裂?这是修建三期围堰必须论证的重大技术课题。本文综合了长江科学院等四个单位对三期围堰进行应力应变稳定分析计算的成果。详细分析了围堰的稳定性问题。分析表明,斜墙方案是基本可行的;心墙方案的稳定性较差。 本文为三期围堰的设计提供了依据。
