This paper reports a method for the indirect determination of cyanide ion by cathodic stripping voltammetry. In the presence of cyanide, the stripping peak of mercuric sulfide is sharply lowered, so the concentration of cyanide ion can be determined quantitatively according to the decrease of the peak height Thioacetamide shows a stripping peak of mercuric sulfide at about-0.95V (vs. Ag-AgCl) in the borate buffer medium, a linear relationship between the decrease of the peak height and the...

This paper reports a method for the indirect determination of cyanide ion by cathodic stripping voltammetry. The interference of cations is eliminated by treating the sample solution with an ammonium form ion exchange resin. The method has been used to determine trace amount of cyanide ion in industrial waste-water and environmental water without distillation.

本文报道了一种在悬汞电极上用阴极溶出伏安法间接测定痕量氰化物的方法.当氰离子存在时,硫化汞溶出峰受到明显的抑制。根据溶出峰的降低,可以定量地测定氰离子.在硼酸钠介质中,硫代乙酰胺在电位-O.95V附近出现硫化汞溶出峰,峰高的降低值与氰离子浓度在lO~(-6)~10~(-8)M范围内有线性关系.检测下限可达2.O×lO~(-8)M,相当于O.5ppb.采用本文提出的铵型阳离子交换树脂处理水样,可以不经蒸馏,简便快速地测定工业废水和环境水中的痕量氰化物.

This paper reports the determination of cyanide at low concentration with the silver ion-selective electrode with Ag(CN)_2~- indicator by multiple standard addition method and the method of Gran's plot.Using this method,the CN~- contents in the samples of the polluted water from Fuzhou district were deter mined. It was found that this method is more simple and faster than the traditional colorimetric method.

During the colorimetric determination of cyanide, the catalytic action tothe decomposition of the cyanide is observed under the condition of the existence of some metallic ions. Through the research on the dynamics of the catalytic decomposition of the cyanide by the metallic ions, the authors know the reaction is of the 1st-order and the sequence of the rate of the catalytic reaction of the decompsition of cyanide is as follows: Ni2+>Co2+>Cn2+>Mn2+ -Fe2+-Zn2+. Meanwhile the relationship between the concentration of Ni2+ and the catalytic reaction of the decomposition of cyanide is also examined. It is observed that the reaction of the concentration of Ni2+ within the range of 0-4 ppm keeps a linear relation with the absorption value of CN- remained in the Solution.

有重金属离子存在下比色测定氰时,发现一些金属离子在该条件下,对氰化物的分解具有催化作用。通过金属离子催化分解氰化物的动力学研究,证实是一级反应,各金属离子对氰化物催化分解反应的速度次序为: Ni~(2+)>Co~(2+)>Cu~(2+)>Mn~(2+)~Fe~(2+)~Zn~(2+)同时还试验了镍离子浓度与催化分解氰化物之间的关系。测得镍离子浓度在0—4ppm范围与溶液中残留氰吸光值符合线性关系。
