This Paper has represented that the improvements made on the 12240Z diesel engines (with the bore in 240 ram,stroke in 260 mm, speed at 1100r·p·m) have been designed and manufactured for demand of the "Peking" type diesel locomotives with hydraulic transmission. As according to the existential shortcomings and questions discovered from the results of the experiments made on the prototype diesel engine, we have carried out a series of the investigations and modifications on the 12240Z diesel...

This Paper has represented that the improvements made on the 12240Z diesel engines (with the bore in 240 ram,stroke in 260 mm, speed at 1100r·p·m) have been designed and manufactured for demand of the "Peking" type diesel locomotives with hydraulic transmission. As according to the existential shortcomings and questions discovered from the results of the experiments made on the prototype diesel engine, we have carried out a series of the investigations and modifications on the 12240Z diesel engines, so as to have the econo- mic and motive-power charactristics raised up to a higher grade on these engines. Further-more, we have also brought the continuous output from 2700 H. P. up to a higher mark of 3000 H. P. and the fuel consumptions have been cut down both at 2700 H. P. and 3000 H. P. at a rate of about 4gr/hp.hr respectively. This paper has also introduced about the operation conditions and the wearing data of these engines after mounting on locomotives.

本文论述了为北京型液力传动內燃机车所设计和制造的12240Z型柴油机(缸径240毫米,行程260毫米,转速1100转/分)并针对样机试验中存在的缺点和问题,进行了研究、改进,使这一柴油机的经济性能、动力性能达到了先进水平。继而又进一步进行了强化,使持续功率由2700马力提高到3000马力,并使2700马力时的燃油消耗率达到149.5克/马力·小时,3000马力时的燃油消耗率达到152克/马力·小时,较强化前均降低了4克/马力·小时左右。本文最后还介绍了这一柴油机的磨耗数据及装车运用情况。

With the continuous enhancement of the strengthening of diesel engines, the research on the dynamics of valve mechanism becomes ever so important. This article treats of the theory of the dynamics of valve mechanism and the processes of test. The authors give the equations for single concentrated mass and multiple concentrated mass models and the computation is done on computers. The results of calculation and of test agree fairly closely.

本文论述了柴油机配气机构动力学的理论、试验研究方法。提出了配气机构单质量模型和多质量模型的计算方程式并应用电子计算机进行计算。同时还全面地介绍了配气机构的测试方法及其测量结果。通过理论计算及测量结果的比较,证明计算与测量结果非常符合。所提出的研究方法为改善配气机构的动力学性能,提高其可靠性提供了有效的途径。

Treatment of ferrous metal parts by ion bombardment, including nitriding, carburizing, carbonitriding, etc., is realized by the characteristic process of glow discharge in different atmospheres at low pressure. The nature of the glow discharge transforming to the arc discharge, and the source for the glow discharge in accordance with the necessity of heat treatment are discussed in this paper. Here, the authors suggest three kinds of electric circuits to be used in ion nitriding equipments. One of them is electronic switch type which has a switching rate of 10~(-5) sec. and can be used in 500A equipment.The γ'-monophased compound layer which is very wear resistant whilst exhibiting good ductility can be produced by ion nitriding process. A coherent compound layer either γ' predominated or γ' monophased can be achieved by adjusting the composition of gases and regulating the different technical parameters. Its structural characteristics as well as its mechnical behaviours, and the factors influencing the achievement of the γ'-monophased compound layer are discussed. This paper also describes the application for a low temperature ion nitriding treatment. The nitrided parts with a lower distortion, lower surface roughness and higher surface hardness can be obtained. Low temperature ion nitriding process achieved a γ'-monophased compound layer, is most suitable for heavy load machine parts, such as locomotive diesel engine crankshafts which require high wear resistance and high fatigue strength.

离子轰击热处理(包括离子氮化,渗碳、碳氮共渗、复合渗层等)是通过不同气氛的低气压辉光放电这一特定的物理过程来实现的。本文探讨了辉光——弧光转变的物理本质,结合热处理的需要,讨论了离子轰击热处理对电源的要求,提出了掌握和控制强电流异常辉光放电的三种电路,其中电子开关电路最大电流可做到500安培,开关速度10~(-5)秒,无限流电阻。三种电路均已应用于生产。 既耐磨又有良好韧性的单相化合层——离子氮化韧性层,主要是通过控制气体成分和调节各种工艺参数来实现的。本文讨论了γ′相的性质和形成条件、各种因素对氮化层相成分的影响规律及γ′相的组织特征,还阐述了低温离子氮化的可能性及其特点,它能大大减少工件变形,提高表面硬度,降低表面粗糙度。本工艺已应用于生产。对于要求高疲劳强度和磨损抗力、氮化后变形小的高速重载运动部件如柴油机曲轴,或形状复杂容易变形的零件,可采用韧层低温离子氮化。
