Geodesic active contour model is an effective method for the contour detection of multiple objects on an image.However,there are some limitations and shortcomings in this model,such as poor convergence to boundary concavities,leaking from broken boundary,miserable anti noise ability,etc.In this paper,based on a detail analysis of geodesic active contour,a new algorithm combined the attraction field regularization and multiscale method is presented to overcome these shortcomings.The regularization of the attraction field extends the attraction range and smoothes the field that can decrease the noise influence.The multiscale method provides an accurate contour detection.The final experiments prove that this new model is sensitive to concave boundary,insensitive to broken boundary,and robust to noise.

短程线主动轮廓模型是近几年提出的一种有效的多目标轮廓提取算法 .本文在详细分析其动力学过程的基础上 ,针对该模型中存在的局限性和不足 ,提出对边缘吸引力场进行正则化的方法 ,并采用多尺度模型 ,有效的改善了该模型不能对存在断裂轮廓的目标进行正确提取和凹边缘搜索能力弱的缺点 ,增强了抗噪声和虚假边缘干扰的能力 ,使该算法具有更好的鲁棒性和实用性 .

Tracking nonrigid moving objects in clutter background is a difficult problem in computer vision On the basis of geodesic active contour models, incorporating with the motion edge information, and using the force field regularization method, a new framework for tracking multi nonrigid moving objects in clutter background is presented in this paper This framework consists of two stages: motion detection and tracking Using motion edge information, the contour is evolved to the region near the moving object boundary at the motion detection stage Then a tracking stage, only using the static edge information in current input frame, is considered to correct the motion detection deviation Furthermore, the tracking deviation will be corrected at the motion detection stage of the next frame Experiments demonstrate that the proposed approach is valid for tracking multiple nonrigid moving objects in clutter background

在复杂背景下对多个非刚性目标进行跟踪是计算机视觉中的一个难点 在短程线主动轮廓模型的基础上 ,利用力场正则化方法 ,并加入运动边缘信息 ,提出了一种在复杂背景下多个非刚性目标进行跟踪的方法 该方法由运动检测和跟踪两部分组成 :运动检测利用运动边缘信息对运动目标的运动做出检测 ,让轮廓曲线运动到目标轮廓附近 ;跟踪利用当前帧中的静态边缘信息对运动检测的结果加以修正 而跟踪这一步引入的偏差将在下一帧的运动检测中得到修正 实验表明该方法能够有效地在复杂背景中对多个非刚性运动目标进行跟踪

The geodesic active contour model has been wide used in image segmentation for its computational stability.Most implicit active contour models,however,are based on explicit updating schemes and therefore of limited computational efficiency.To alleviate the problem,this paper presents a fast active contour model based on the additive operator splitting(AOS) algorithm.In the new model,the time step can be set large to improve the model’s time efficiency.During constructing the coefficient matrix,regional information is used to reduce the effect of noises.The results show that the new model can get better results in an efficient way.

几何活动轮廓模型以其计算稳定等优点,被广泛用于图像分割。给出一种基于AOS(additiveoperatorsplitting)算法的快速活动轮廓模型,将AOS方法与几何活动轮廓模型相结合构造一种半隐式迭代模型,它对迭代步长没有限制,从而可以选择较大的迭代步长,提高了模型的时间效率,并使用区域信息构造系数矩阵,使模型具有全局性。对MR(magneticresonance)图像分割的实验表明,该模型可以得到较好的分割结果,同时时间效率也有大幅提高,方便了实时应用。
