After analysis and comparison, the resin-coated agent with 80% KAR, 8.0% AC-2, 8.0% M15, 0.8% KH-550 and 3.2% SC-2 was selected, and the resin-coated sand has the compression pressure higher than 9 MPa, permeability higher than 0. 2μm2 and good compatibilities in lab tests.
Analysis of the curing temperature, curing time and media resistance indicates that by adding surface treated fibre, the sand control ability of fibre consolidation can be increased without bring any harm to formation permeability.
