When rabbits accepted daily 30mg/kg sodium tetraborate during the period of fluoride exposure, boron reduced the adverse effects of fluoride on renal function and structure chiefly by decreasing the levels of fluoride in the kidneys.

The early manifestations and comprehensive preventive measures for industrial fluorosis were explored by means of the systematic experimental researches and ten years' observations in clinic and at workplaces.Our experimental results showd that the doses of fluoride exposure were related to the contents of urinary fluoride,urinary hydroxyproline and bony fluoride,to the changes of bony X-ray and pathology,and that the early manifestations of fluorosis in extrabony systems were the changes in renal ultrastructures,renal and urinary enzyme activities,and immune functions.According to the ten years' observations,the comprehensive preventive measures,including workshop and technique improvements,individual protection and antidote administration,were performed with remarkable results.

本文通过实验研究和10年临床、现场动态观察,探讨了工业性氟病的早期表现和防治措施。结果表明,尿氟、尿羟、骨氟、骨骼X线征象及病理改变与氟暴露呈剂量-反应关系;氟对骨外系统影响的早期表现为肾超微结构、肾酶和尿酶活性、免疫功能改变。通过动态观察,实施的车间改造、工艺改革、个人防护等,以及硼的预防性治疗等综合性防治措施已取得明显效果。

In this paper the new monitor plants for fluoride were screened by means of open top field chamber. Some responses of monitor plants to fluoride exposure were investigated and the establishment and quantification on plant monitor index were discussed. The results showed that Prunus mume, Gladiolus gandavensis, Polygonum runcinatum, Polygonum chinense, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, Fagopyeum cymosum, Cedrus deodara and Malus pumila were fine monitoring plants for fluoride. The results showed that Prunus mume, Gladiolus gandavensis, Polygonum runcinatum, Polygonum chinense, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, Fagopyeum cymosum, Cedrus deodara and Malus pumila were fine monitoring plants for fluoride. From which the P. runcinatum, P. chinense and P. mume were newly domestically screened to monitor fluoride in atmosphere. The study on fluorde monitor index illustrated that the damage concentration threshold value, symptom appearance time, damaged leaf area (in % ) and leaf fluoride content were four indexes of plant monitor for monitoring fluoride in atmosphere with the physiological index being used for reference.

本文报道用开顶式熏气装置筛选大气氟监测植物,研究监测植物在氟污染情况下的反应,以确立监测指标和监测定量化。结果表明,梅、唐菖蒲、赤胫散、火炭母、水杉、金荞麦、雪松、苹果等植物是良好的氟监测植物,其中赤胫散、火炭母是国内筛选出来的监测植物,可用来监测大气氟污染。受害浓度(阈值)、症状出现时间、受害叶面积%和叶片含氟量可作为植物的监测指标,生理反应指标作为参考。
