    A new design method of a new observer is proposed for linear discrete singular system with unknown input disturbance appearing both in process and measurement equations. Under three specific conditions,an equivalent problem for standard state space systems is derived from nonsingular transformation of input-state for systems. An observer of standard state space systems is designed by using well-known techniques,so the input decoupled observer of the singular linear systems is obtained and the existing condition of this observer is given.

An approach of fault detection and isolation using optimal parity vector is proposed. In this paper, the states reconstruction problem was discussed for linear time\|invariable systemwith unknown inputs. A sufficient and necessary condition for system existing the reduced\|order observers was given in a specific coordinate transform.
