The high temperature deformation of ceramic-shell moulds is the main cause of distortion of investment casting, so that the reasonable method of testing the hot deformation of ceramic-shell moulds is very necessary for increasing the accuracy of investment casting, In this paper, the factors that influence the hot deformation of ceramic-shell moulds have been analysed and the methods of testing the hot deformation of ceramic-shell moulds at home and abroad have been compared. Based upon systematic technological experiments, the cylindrical specimen has been selected for this method. The high temperature deformation instrument for testing is composed of an oven, a load sensor, an indicator and a two-pen recorder. Its operational performance is confirmed to be quite good.

In this paper the relationship between the compositions, mechanical properties or microstructures of Mg-Y-Zn-Zr system casting alloys has been studied. 本文较系统地研究了Mg-Y-Zn-Zr系铸造合金的成份、性能和组织结构之间的关系。发现成份中的Y、Zn含量比例影响合金的性能与组织。Y/Zn比在1.5左右时,其组织结构中的晶间相是由大量白色块状化合物Mg_(30)YZn和少量深色(αMg+Mg_(43)Y_5Zn_5)共晶所组成。此时合金具有最佳的高温蠕变性能。
