The bioactivity of 475 kinds of insecticidal plants collected from north-western China were tested in laboratory with Tribolium castaneum (Herbst) in Department of Plant Protection, North-western Agricultural University. The results indicated that about 40 kinds of plant samples showed inhibiting effectivity to the population formation of T. castaneum. Stronger effects were obtained from the samples of Thlaspi arvense, Leontopodium haplophylloides, Paeonia suffruticosa, Rubus mesogaeus, Malva verticillata, Senecio scandens, Alangium chinensis, Catalpa ovata Lycopersicon esculentum. All of them showed the inhibiting efficacy of above 80% to the test insect, and worth to make a deep research for the insecticidal characteristics. They will even be used directly to control the insect pest in practical production. The effective samples selected out of the plant samples collected did not show contact and fumigant toxicity to the test insect in our experiments. The mode of action and mechanism of the plant materials will be investigated in farther experiments.

以赤拟谷盗为试虫,对采自西北五省区的97科中475种植物样品进行室内生物活性筛选,选出了40多种对赤拟谷盗种群形成有抑制作用的样品。其中番茄、梓树、八角枫、野葵、喜阴悬钩子、牡丹、香芸火绒草,遏蓝菜和千里光等9种植物样品的抑制效果达80%以上,有一定的直接利用价值和进一步深入研究的必要。这些植物样品对试虫均无明显接触和熏蒸杀虫作用,其作用方式和作用机理有待于进一步探讨。

The laboratory tests showed that 64 species of the 444 plant samples had inhibiting effectiveness to the population formation of S. zeamais. The laboratory tests showed that 64 species of the 444 plant samples had inhibiting effectiveness to the population formation of S. zeamais. Each of the plant samples showed a more than 80% inhibiting efficacy to the test insect population formation. Their contact and fumigant toxicity to the test insect were not observed in our experiments. These plant materials, because of their low cost, local availability, safty to human beings and environment, may be developed and used to prevent grain, seeds and forages in store from insect attack.

本文简述几种植物的杀虫活性物存在部位、化学结构和对害虫的作用方式,概述其中的苦楝、川楝、印楝、黄杜鹃、苦皮藤和打破碗花花的当前研究现状,并提出植物杀虫剂发展存在的问题及其对策。
