The effects of millimeter microwave irradiation,(36.11GHz ) with powerdensity(PD) of 1,3,5, 7 mW/cm ̄2 respectively, on the proliferation activity of EMT6 breastcarcinoma cells of mouse in vitro were observed.
The ultrastructures of adenohypophysis, adrenal cortex and testes werestudied in mice at 1, 3, 5, 7 days following the millimeter microwave irradiation (frequency36.11 GHz, power density 5 mW/cm~2), 30 min daily, for 5 days continuously.
METHODS: 60 Co γ radiation at 620 cGy was used only once, and millimeter microwave at frequency 36.11 GHz, power density 10 mW·cm -2 once per day for five days was used on the 2 cm×2 cm parts of mice back.
The literature about effects of millimeter microwave radiation was less, especially in our country. Fifty-six mice were irradiated by millimeter microwave at a freguency of 36.4 GHz, and a power density of 1mw/cm2 15-30 minutes daily for 5 days, and histological changes of the skin, liver, spleen and bone marrow were examined. It was revealed that, the irradiation had little influence on the skin, but more severe changes were ound in the liver and the bone marrow. The glycogen deposi...
A five-year study on the bioeffects of millimeter-microwave lias recently been made in our university. We studied the local and the distant effects, mechanism of the distant effects, effects on tumor cells and bone marrow cells in culture, recovery of bone marrow cells irradiated by microwave together with 60Co, and cultured tumor cells irradiated with hematoporphyrin derivate. The work we have done is in the-lead in our country at present.
One hundred and ten mice were locally underwent millimeter- microwave irradiation (36.7 GHz in frequency, 8 mm in wave length, 4 mW/cm2 in power density), 30 min daily for 5 days. Nine" kinds of tissues of all the animals were taken at certain time after irradiation for histological examination. Rectal and local skin temperature of some animals was taken before and after irradiation. Local skin blockade with novocain was performed on some a animals before irradiation. Some changes were found in ...
