In this paper, an efficient algorithm suited to the study on power flow problems of tree-powre-networks is presented. Compared with traditional AC power flow algorithm (Newton-Raphson method) its principal advantages are faster calculation speed, lesser number of convergence and higher accuracy of convergence, etc. And better converging properties of this algorithm can also be guaranteed for highly ill-conditioned power system.
