The surface tension of pure liquid 2-methyl-1,3-propylene glycol(MPO) and MPO aqueous solutions with various concentrations between 298.15 ~367.7 K at normal pressure by use of maximum bubble pressure method.
Under the atmospheric pressure and by using the Ostwald-Sprengel-type pycnometer and the Ubbelohde capillary viscometer, the densities and viscosities of the binary system, 2-methyl-1,3-propylene glycol (MPO) + H2O, were measured at the temperature range of 298.15~367.15K and over the whole MPO molar fraction range.
