In this research work, the thermal elastic-plastic method is used to analyze the dynamic thermal stress in the stress-frame specimen during its solidification and cooling process. The stress-frame specimens of the gray cast iron and silumin are cast in the sand mold. A conjugate method composed of the finite difference method and the finite element method are used in the simulation calculation. The conclusions are made as follows: 1. Results obtained from the simulation calculation well coincide with the actual measurement. The informations concerning the dangerous position and the possible fracture surface direction at every instant in the cooling of casting are obtained. 2. The calculation using the constant parameter is also done with that using the variable parameter (which indicates that the property of material varies with changing in temperature). It has been proved that only a little difference exists. 3. Changing in solidifying the condition of casting directly influences its stress distribution and thus the stress field calculation can provide the basis for the optimum design in the foundry technology.

本研究用热弹塑性方法分析铸造应力框自凝固到冷却过程动态热应力。编制了可模拟计算平面问题异型件铸造应力的电子计算机程序。温度场用有限差分法,应力场则用有限元法计算。本方法可为铸件结构设计和工艺设计提供依据。

In this paper, the thermal elastic-plastic stresses of the components which underwent local high temperature cycle were analyzed by FEM. The relevant computer program is compiled by the improved variable stiffic method. In this program, the variation of material's mechanical property depending on temperature is considered. As an example, a welding specimen was calculated and compared with the results of measurement.

本文对局部经受高温热循环构件的热弹塑性应力进行了有限元分析。文中考虑到材料机械性能随温度的变化,采用修正后的增量变刚度法,编制了计算机程序,对一个具体焊接试件进行了实例分析计算并与实测结果相比较。
