The surface of EPS is of hydrophobic nature, which can not wet binding material. The surface of EPS is of hydrophobic nature, which can not wet binding material. As in the freshly mixed mortar, EPS particle is not affined with cement paste and has a low bulk density, which will be apt to make EPS particle buoy, and lead to the segregation of mortar, the decrease of water retentivity and affect its workability. When pretreated, the surface of EPS can be changed into that of hydrophilic nature, and be wetted by freshly mixed silicate paste. The technology channel of EPS surface modification is that select proper high-molecular binder and coupling agent, prepare polymer silicate binding material of low water-cement ratio, and utilize the double effect of binder and coupling agent to form silicate grout of hydrophilic nature on the surface of EPS, by composite binding material wrapping the surface of EPS. A new thermal insulating mortar with good properties of thermal engineering, weather-resisting and crack-resisting can be made by modified EPS as light aggregate and cement as binder, modification with fiber and polymer. This new type of insulating mortar can be used as outer thermal insulation of outside wall, which breaks the limitation of traditional insulating mortar only as interior insulation. It has been widely used in the building energy-saving model project.

EPS表面为憎水性 ,无机胶凝材对其不润湿。在新拌砂浆中 ,由于EPS颗粒与水泥浆体之间不亲合 ,且容重很小 ,所以在搅拌过程中很容易造成EPS颗粒“上浮” ,从而导致砂浆分层 ,保水性下降 ,严重影响其和易性与施工性能。通过对EPS预处理 ,使其表面由憎水性变为亲水性 ,使之能被新拌硅酸盐浆体所润湿。EPS表面改性的技术途径为 :选择适宜的高分子粘结剂和偶联剂 ,配制低水灰比的聚合物硅酸盐胶凝材 ,利用粘结剂和偶联剂的双重作用 ,通过复合胶凝材对EPS的表面包裹 ,在EPS表面形成亲水性硅酸盐薄壳 ,实现EPS表面改性。以改性EPS为轻骨料 ,水泥为胶结材 ,纤维和聚合物改性可配制施工性、热工性、耐候性、抗裂性良好的保温砂浆。这种新型保温砂浆可用于外墙外保温 ,突破了传统保温砂浆只能作内保温的局限 ,已在建筑节能示范工程中大规模应用。

The influence of three additives content i.e.air entraining agent,emulsion powder and cellulose ether on the workability,air content and dry apparent density of EPS thermal insulating mortar are studied,the relationship of air content,workability and dry apparent density are analyzed.The result indicates that the content variation of three additives all have great influence on workability,air content and dry apparent density of EPS thermal insulating mortar when air content is less than 40%,the workability of EPS thermal insulating mortar become better with the increase of air contentthe dry apparent density,air content and coefficient of thermal conductivity of EPS thermal insulating mortar have certain relationships.

研究引气剂、乳胶粉和纤维素醚等3种外加剂掺量对EPS保温砂浆工作性、含气量及干表观密度的影响,分析含气量与工作性及干表观密度之间的关系。研究结果表明,3种外加剂的掺量变化均对EPS保温砂浆的工作性、含气量及干表观密度有较大的影响;当含气量小于40%时,EPS保温砂浆的工作性随着含气量的增加而改善;EPS保温砂浆的干表观密度、含气量与导热系数之间存在着一定的关系。
