Polymer molecular weight can be controlled by manipulating surfactant concentration and substrate concentration, thus establishing a novel method for the syntheais of nanometer materials with various molocular weight. The phenolic polymers enzymatically produced in aqueous micelle can be useful as blue light-emitting materials for their purple-blue fluoreseence and thermal stability.
