This paper tells the preliminary results of 5-6 years' afforestation of 107 Chinese fir families in Kaihua, Changhua, Tiantai and Longquan. According to the results, 18-24 families are selected from each of the areas. It is effective to select a fine tree of Chinese fir out of 5 dominant trees and the yield of seed progeny in primary seed orchards is obviously increased. When the parental clone of primarily-selected families is used to set up the first-generation seed orchards, it can be estimated that the early growth of the trees in height and diameter at breast high will be comparatively increased by 4.7-8.5% and 9.0-17.4%. But families and environments have notable effects on each other and therefore the fine families should be used in agreement with local conditions. The height of seedlings is not reliable in deciding whether the family is good or not. However, the decision can be made on basis of the average height of the trees through 5-6 years' growth.

本文报道了浙江省107个杉木家系在开化、昌化、天台和龙泉4个点进行造林5~6年后测定的初步结果。根据测定结果,每个点选18~24个优良家系。作者认为按5株优势木对比法选择杉木优树是有效的,初级种子园子代增产效果是明显的。用初步选出的优良家系的亲本无性系建立第一代种子园,预计早期树高和胸径生长量将比对照增大4.7~8.5%和9.0~17.4%。但家系与环境互作效应是极显著的,必须因地制宜地推广优良家系。用苗高预估家系的优劣是不可靠的,可以考虑用5~6年生家系树高均植预估家系的优劣。

于1988年在帽儿山实验林场林木改良实验站进行调查研究,对7年生樟子松优树半同胞家系测定林进行多性状的相关分析和方差分析,利用主分量指数对112个自由授粉半同胞家系进行选择,初步选出了优于最佳对照的29个优良家系和低于对照平均值的21个低劣家系。这种指数选择集中了多性状的信息,比单一性状选择具有优越性。结论表明优树家系的选择是有效的,可为建立一代生产性种子园和将试验林改建为实生苗种子园提供科学依据。
