In the article, the entire process of the performance study of an 8V150 turbocharged and intercooled diesel engine has been summarized. The research process of performance of the single-cylinder diesel enginen, the matching research of overall performance and the process of performance improvement have been explicated in detail. In addition, the performance regulars and the characters of the 8V150 diesel engine have been analyzed and summarized.

对8V150增压中冷柴油机性能研究的全过程进行总结,详细阐述了该机的单缸性能研究过程、总体性能匹配研究和性能改进的过程,并对8V150增压中冷柴油机的性能规律及特点进行了归纳总结。

In order to solve the failure of cylinder head on a 4-cylinder turbocharged and intercooled diesel engine in trial,failure analysis is taken on changes of design, work conditions, appearance, chemical composition, metallography, stress.On the basis of principle of improvement, through FEM calculation and comparison of different measures, final methodsare decided. Stress test proved that new design can settle down the failure problem, as well as enhancing reliability ofengine.

针对某4缸增压中冷柴油机气缸盖在研制过程中发生的失效,从结构和工作条件的变化、形貌和解剖观察、化学成分、金相组织及应力诸方面进行失效分析,进而确定改进原则。通过有限元计算进行比较,确定最终改进方案。用应力测量验证改进效果,证明问题已得到完满解决,且可靠性提高。
