It was a usual practice in the past to draw on experience in the design of machine tool seguential circuits.In recent years,logic design method has come into use. The general theory of logic design has been discussed by Friedman A.D. [1][2]and other people[3]-[11]. Because there are plenty of input and output information in sequential circuits of machine tool,it is difficult to apply the general theory,such as method [7] or tabular procedure [8][10], to the design of these circuits.The character...

It was a usual practice in the past to draw on experience in the design of machine tool seguential circuits.In recent years,logic design method has come into use. The general theory of logic design has been discussed by Friedman A.D. [1][2]and other people[3]-[11]. Because there are plenty of input and output information in sequential circuits of machine tool,it is difficult to apply the general theory,such as method [7] or tabular procedure [8][10], to the design of these circuits.The character variable method recommended in this paper is especially adaptable to the design of circuits which contain a lot of ineffective combination functions. The author applied this method to the design the control circuits of an automatic production line for Nanjing Micro-Motor Factory in 1975 and of a hydraulic transmissou experiment device for laboratory 503 of the institute in 1978. For convenience,the method with relay circuits is taken as an example for discussion in this paper. But the method can be used in all circuits of logic elements. A more detailed presentation of much of the material about this method can be found in the author's another book[12].

机床程序回路设计以往主要凭经验。近年来开始应用逻辑设计方法,在弗莱曼,A.D.等人[1]—[11]的著作中论述了一般的理论。但由于机床程序回路中存在较多的输入、输出信号,这些一般理论如象作图法[7]或列表程序[8]、[10]很难适用。 本文荐用特征变量法,能有效地解决这个问题。作者曾于1975及1978年分别用于自动生产线和液压试验设备的设计中。为简化起见,该方法在本文中用继电器回路为例进行讨论,但同样可适用于其他逻辑元件的回路,有关这方面的详细介绍,可参看[12]。
