Synopsis: The effects of emulsion and water on the properties of mold shell have been studied in present paper. l~xpcrimcntal results show that the wet strength and air permeability ofmold were improved, and the remains strength were reduced when added the silicasol. The preferred ratio ofcmulsion to silicasol has bean found, and high-quality molds have been made. These molds have been successfully used in batch production of large and thin section Al-alloy investment casting.

Influence of a additive organic adhesive in hydrolytic solution of ethyl ester silicate on technological properties of ethyl ester silicate-gangue powders coating and various strength of shell are researched. The test results show that addition of organic adhesive increases viscosity of the coatings and decreases remains strength and high temperature strength of the shell. As a additive amount Of organic adhesive is no more than 12% of weight of hydrolytic solution and the weight ration of powders/solution equals 1.0~1.3/1.0, the coating can meet demand of shell preparation. On the other hand, remains strength of shell decreased by 50% and reduction of high temperature strength of shell is less than the reduction of its remains strength. The strength of shell can perfactly meet demand of investment casting of aluminium alloy.

This method con-sideres not only the dispersion of material mechanics parameters and random loading, but also the decrease 01 remaining strength caused by crack propagation and new gradually generating fatigue cracks. It gives the general relationship between construction with cracks and structure reliability or using time more accurately. As a example, a boiler steam-water header with cracks is analysed. The corresponding numerical results provides the quantitative technical reference for analysing the boiler reliability and deciding the proper maintenance time.

本文提出了一种含裂纹构件剩余寿命的概率断裂力学分析方法。该方法不仅考虑了材质的不均匀性和使用工况的波动性对构件剩余寿命的影响,而且还考虑了裂纹扩展引起构件剩余强度逐渐降低,以及新的疲劳裂纹不断萌生等因素对构件剩余寿命和可靠性的影响,从而给出了较为符合实际情况的含裂纹构件剩余寿命和可靠性随使用时间变化的一般规律。并以某船用锅炉汽水联箱为例,通过其实测和试验数据,得到了相应的数值结果。为分析该锅炉当前使用状况的可靠程度以及合理地确定其检修时间,提供了定量的技术参考依据。
