ZSM-5 zeolite was synthesized from Na2O-Al2O3-SiO2-H2O system in the presence of crystal seeds and using NH4+ as promoter for crystallization. The synthesis runs were carried out in a stainless steel autoclave with a stirrer at 170 -190℃. Waterglass, aluminium sulfate, H2SO4, NH4OH and H2O were used as raw materials. The molar composition of the reaction mixture was 10-20 Na2O:Al2O3:50 -100 SiO2:70 - 150NH4OH:3000-4000H2O. Seed crystals added to the reaction mixture were 5 wt%.No induction period was observed...

ZSM-5 zeolite was synthesized from Na2O-Al2O3-SiO2-H2O system in the presence of crystal seeds and using NH4+ as promoter for crystallization. The synthesis runs were carried out in a stainless steel autoclave with a stirrer at 170 -190℃. Waterglass, aluminium sulfate, H2SO4, NH4OH and H2O were used as raw materials. The molar composition of the reaction mixture was 10-20 Na2O:Al2O3:50 -100 SiO2:70 - 150NH4OH:3000-4000H2O. Seed crystals added to the reaction mixture were 5 wt%.No induction period was observed and the crystallization was a pure crystal growth process as shown by the crystallization curve with seed crystals. Without adding seed crystal, the induction time of nucleation increased greatly and the reaction time required was 22 hours. Seeding reduces the crystallization time and accelerates' the crystallizing velocity. In crystallization process, the concentration of SiO2 in liquid phase was approximately constant and no A12O3 was detected in solution. Al3+ ions in aqueous solution take part originally in the formation of the crystalline framework. In the course of crystallization, Al atoms of the bulk phase of zeolite migrate gradually to the surface phase and achieve an equilibrium. As the protracting of the crystallization time, NH4+ ions take gradually the place of Na+ ions in solid product, and residual Na+, Na+/(Na++NH4+) =0.45, orients on the strong acid sites of zeolite. Kinetics of the crystallization of ZSM-5 has been studied. Crystallizing velocity increased with the increasing of temperature and alkalinity. The apparent activation energy of crystallization E, was determined to be 19.42Kcal/mol for SiO2/Al2O3 = 48. The effect of alkali concentration on crystallizing velocity showed the characteristic of second order reaction. A liquid phase transportation mechanism of transformation was suggested.

在Na_2O-Al_2O_3-SiO_2-H_2O中,添加晶种,用氨水作晶化促进剂,晶化过程为近似的单纯的晶体生长过程。晶种起到缩短成核诱导期和加速结晶速度的作用。Al原子优先进入晶体骨架。NH_4~+和Na~+同时起到平衡沸石骨架负电荷的作用,残留的Na~+主要定位在沸石的强酸性中心位。得到晶体生长的表观活化能E_c=19.42Kcal/mol。碱度对结晶速度的影响为二级反应。
