In the work an experimental survey has been made to Grade 2 students of two provincial key schools,one municipal key high schcol,one urban general school and one suburban high school in Wuhu,using the method of"80.8 nerve type measurment table". The results show there are differences in cerebral function development between the students of different kinds of schools and there are different characteristics.

The phonetic speech items of deaf children (including those receiving rehabilitation training in Hubei Provincial Deaf Children Rehabilitation Center and those enrolling general school after rehabilitation training) were investigated and tested.
