The adoption of optimizing design to glass furnace marks the advanced level of furnace design. Bat, up to now, due to the complication of glass melting process in the furnace tank, the designing of flat glass furnace always remains at the level of mainly relying on the experiential data The prevailing design for the glass furnace, due to mainly relying on the experiential data, has quite some shortcomings, resulting in that the designing level can not be improved steadily, and the optimizing design is more difficult to realize. Proceeding from the basic principles of glass melting technology and furnace thcrmo - technology, the Author has been devoting himself from the macrostate to studying the problems related to the design method,researching for the relation among the main parameters of glass furnace and their mathematical models. Now the preliminary achievement has been obtained. Thus, the main furnace parameters can be mostly figured out from the calculation of mathematical models instead of to be determined by the experiential data. Meanwhile , a preliminary CAD System for the glass furnace has come into being by utilizing those mathematical models under the aid of superior function of microcomputer, and the optimizing design can be realized.

采用优化设计是玻璃熔窑设计技术水平的重要标志。然而,由于窑内复杂的熔化与热工过程,到目前为止,玻璃熔窑仍采用经验设计的方法。由于经验设计存在若干缺点,导致设计水平难以不断提高,更形以实现优化设计。作者从玻璃熔化工艺和窑炉热工的基本原理出发,采用宏观态的方法,研究与设计人法有关的问题,探求玻璃熔窑诸多主要参数间的关系及其数学模型。目前已取得初步成果。熔窑的主要参数由凭经验确定转变为绝大部分通过数学模型计算得出。同时,借助于PC型微型电子计算机的优越功能,利用数学模型编制成一个初步的玻璃熔窑 CAD系统,玻璃熔窑的优化设计得以实现。
