The results showed that the number of the positive thinking of the positive emotion-evoked group was bigger than that of the negative emotion-evoked group, the number of the negative thinking of the negative emotion-evoked group was bigger than that of the positive emotion-evoked group.
This paper describes the definition of anxiety and its causes,and it is stated that anxiety is not a result of the environmental stimulation,but the result of people’s negative thinking toward the environment. Therefore athletes’ anxiety could be reduced by changing their cognition.
