The initial particle velocity distributions just after bubble eruption under different test runs are measured which provide important experimental data to the calculation of particle movements later ie the freeboard. In addition, particle velocities and tracks in the dilute phase caused by bubble eruption are measured.In view of the new findings and velocity distribution obtained from the experiments, a theoretical model about particle motion in bubble eruption area is proposed, which has distinguishing feature due to some construction suggestions such as bubble form, bed surface shape, calculation of gas flow field, etc. Results from model calculation agree well with the experimental data.

The authors reported in their paper presented at the 5th conference of Fluidization in Denmark 1986 year, a four-region model to account for liquid vortex with a few solid particles. In this work the radial distributions of local holdups and liquid vortex in G-L-S two-dimensional fluidized bed were measured by conductivity probe with microcomputer-sampling technique. The experimental results show that the liquid vortex holdup is equal to almost zero at the center and near the wall and has a maximum value at about the position r/R =0.7. On the basis of experimental data, the bed could be divided into gas bubble, gas bubble wake, liquid vortex and solid liquid fluidization regions. A four-region mathematical model of calculating the phase holdups was developed and gave a good match to the experimental da-ta. The four-region model can not only simulate the distributions of phase holdups in the radial direction, but also predict the contraction of a three-phase fluidized bed.

So far as phenolic wastewater is concerned.The mixing and transfer character of organic substance removal in the three phase biofluidized bed in detail is analysed in the paper. The result indicates that the fluidization contact of small size bio-particle has provided gigantic growth surface for microorganism and high microorganism concentration.Bubble agitation and big bubble wake lifting facilitate the mixing, decrease the mass transfer resistance and increase the bio-reactor rate consequencely.The self-desorption of polluant in bio-particle is the main reason why polluant concentration increases locally in the upper part of fluidized bed.

本文以含酚废水为对象,详细分析了三相生物流化床去除有机物的混合与传递过程特性.结果表明,小直径生物粒子的流态化接触为微生物提供了巨大的栖覆表面并拥有较高的生物浓度,气泡搅拌,大气泡的尾迹提升,促进了生物流化床的混合,减小了传质阻力,提高了生物反应速率.生物载体上污染物的自析效应是流化床上部污染物浓度局部回升的主要原因.
