The so-called revision of indented hardness value on a curve-surface specimen is a problem how to determine the relation between the indented Hardness value on a plane specimen and the on a curve-surface specimen.It is a compara-tively complex space elastic-plastic contact problem and it is very difficulty tofind theoretically the exact solution.This topic has hltherto been studied by manyinvestigators,because it is significant in practice.However,the results,more compl-ete and suitable for practical use,have not so far been obtained.This paper aimsto make a thorough discussion of the problems involved in this topic by analogybetween elastic and elastic-plastic solution on semi-space.All calculating form-ular of the modified value or modified coefficient are gived.Their features are(1)The type of formulas is universal.It is suitable to be used for any carve-surface specimen any range of hardness value and any scale of hardness test(2)By using these formulas,the accuracy is quite satisfactory and the ults seem all agree with experimetal data(3)The simpliciy of the formulas and the convenience fo calculation make them suitable for practical use.

The comparison of the obtained results with those of infinite bodies shows that the difference is within 5% when a/b<0.05. On the other hand, in the case that a/b>05, the error may not be negligible if the solutions for infinite bodies are used for panels with central short cracks.

本文以幂强化材料,平面应变情形为例,系统地提出了裂纹尖端场弹塑性分析的加权残数法,并根据此法,得出了裂纹尖端场的解析式弹塑性近似解.在此基础上.对整个裂纹区域,构造了弹塑性解叠加非线性有限元计算塑性应力强度因子的方法,从而为裂纹尖端场和整个裂纹体的分析和计算,提供了一个方法.
