In high power laser welding penetration is the precondition of high quality.In order to gain full penetration,a special signal,which isppicked-up from the course and represents the conditions of the welding formation,is needed.So in this paper,a coaxial optical detector is designed and used to collect practical signals under different conditions,and then,the rules that how the coaxial optical signal varies with different conditionsare are given out.

The welding condition and the weld bead formation of "weld pool penetration" and "moderate full penetration (keyhole penetration)" are described. A system for coaxial monitoring the penetration status in CO_2 laser welding is established. The influence of welding process variables and penetration status on the coaxial optical signal is studied in laser welding of planar plate. The experimental results show that as the heat input increases, the variation slope of the signal intensity is maximal when the penetration status changes from "weld pool penetration" to "moderate full penetration".

对激光深熔焊的熔透状态进行了分类 ,指出了“仅熔池透”和“适度熔透”的形成条件和焊缝成形特征。建立了一套CO2 激光深熔焊熔透状态的同轴检测系统 ,研究了焊接工艺参数和熔透状态发生变化时等离子体同轴光信号的变化规律。发现在板厚不变的条件下 ,随热输入的变化 ,焊接过程由“仅熔池透”达到“适度熔透”时 ,同轴等离子体光信号强度的增量绝对值最大。

By using a coaxial monitoring system for detecting the optical emission in CO_2 laser beam welding, the frequency -filed characteristics of the coaxial optical signals under different penetration statues are studied. In frequency field analyzing, the FBC ( barycenter of frequency spectrum) is presented to describe the characteristic of the frequency spectrum of the plasma optical signal. The experimental results show that as the laser power increase or welding speed decreases, the FBC of 2 - 6 kHz range jumps up to higher frequency when the penetration status transits from “moderate full penetration” to “weld pool penetration”.

利用CO2 激光深熔焊等离子体光信号的同轴检测系统 ,提出了频谱重心的概念并以此来分析等离子体光信号的频谱特性 ,研究了平板焊接时对应适度熔透状态时同轴光信号的频域特征。结果表明 ,随激光功率增加或焊接速度减小 ,当焊接熔透状态从”适度熔透 (小孔透 )”变化到”仅熔池透”时对应 2~ 6kHz段频谱重心位置向上 (高频 )跳变。
