A detailed description of the test two types of rotors 102 JT and 102 JHP has also been given. Finally, the feasibility of using only two correction planes for a conventional rotor (n≤2) is demonstrated.

As the dynamic deflection and bearing reaction of a flexible rotor vary with the rotor speed, the flexible rotor must be balanced within its opearting speed range. The dynamic deflection may become very large due to resonance in case of the flexible rotor speed approaching or exceeding its 1st or 2nd order critical speed. As the dynamic deflection and bearing reaction of a flexible rotor vary with the rotor speed, the flexible rotor must be balanced within its opearting speed range. The dynamic deflection may become very large due to resonance in case of the flexible rotor speed approaching or exceeding its 1st or 2nd order critical speed. It is therefore not advisable to determine the influence coeffient by use of the general "Influence coefficient method". Based on the balancing theory of flexible rotors, the relationship between the "modal balancing method" and the "influence coefficient method" has been found, and a better combined balancing method is suggested which enables the rotors to be balanced through its critical speeds safely.

由于挠性转子的动挠度及其轴承的动反力是随着转子转速的变化而改变,所以,挠性转子必须在其工作转速下作整个转速范围内转子的平衡。而挠性转子在接近或超过其第一、二阶临界转速时,转子处于共振状态,这时动挠度达到很大的数值。因此,用一般的影响系数法求影响系数值是不可取的。本文从挠性转子平衡理论出发,通过“振型法”与“影响系数法”的基本理论,找出它们间相互关系,从而找得安全通过共振转速的平衡方法,使影响系数法平衡挠性转子更为完善,在此称为“组合平衡法”。
