Transverse displacement and inner forces in perforated region as a function of radius are calculated according to an equivalent solid plate on elastic foundation with equivalent effective elastic constants and by considering the reaction from the tube bundle, effects of differential thermal expansion between tubes and shell, interaction of tubesheet with shell/channel. The local stress multipliers due to Peterson are employed to evaluate the peak stresses at the edge of holes.
