The penetration of cryolite-alumina melt causes the deterioration of carbon cathode in aluminium electrolysis cells. So various influencing factors on the penetration behavior were investigated in laboratory with the mechanism of penetration discussed.Summary. Influencing factors on the penetration here investigated are the electrode polarity, current density, addition of aluminium, NaF/AlF3 mole ratio , cathode material and reversing current electrolysis. Based on these, an idea of electro-capillary wetting in relation to penetration is developed. It is observed that all the electro-capillary phenomena and the actions of aluminium and sodium can intensify the penetration of cryolite-alumina into carbon cathode. Among all the influencing factors the most important one is considered to be the electro-capillary phenomena. For the sake of prolonging the service life of carbon cathode, it is necessary to weaken the electro-capillary penetration and to prevent the liberation of sodium from electrolyte. 从理论和实验上研究聚能射流侵彻靶板时用薄膜热电偶测量靶内弹坑附近温度的可行性,热偶箔厚30nm。测量结果给出环氧玻璃钢和中碳钢靶板弹坑附近的温度分布,与观察到的实验现象一致。结果不仅证明所用测温方法是有效和可靠的,而且所得结果对研究穿、破甲机理有重要的参考价值。
