By using reconstruction of infrared spectra, the 1020cm~(-1) band was separated to 1024.2, 1021.5 and1017.8cm~(-1) three bands, which were assigned to crystalline trans-configuration, amorphous trans-configuration and gauche configurationstructures of PET, respectively. The orientation behavior of these configuration structures can be directly compared from the dichroism measurements of the three bands.
