According to the partial discharge location method based on UHF and ultrasonic phased receiving arrays theory proposed by the authors, a phased receiving ultrasonic planar array sensor which possesses 16×16 elements is designed. With the aid of the phased array theory, the characteristics of the plane sensor are studied. The performance of each element measured in the laboratory is perfect within the frequency bandwidth of ultrasonic that can be received from PD in transformer oil. Location tests are conducted where one or two synchronous emitting piezoelectric ultrasonic sources in oil are simulated as PD sources. The results show that the locations are precise using this phased ultrasonic receiving array sensor, the system error is less than 2% near the positive normal, and multiple locations can be determined in one measurement.

基于超高频和超声波相控接收阵的局部放电定位法,研制了16×16阵元的相控超声波接收平面阵传感器.使用相控阵理论对该传感器的特性进行了理论分析,模拟实验表明,在变压器中能接收到局部放电产生的超声波频带内,阵元的接收性能是良好的.以触发压电超声波源的电脉冲信号作为时间基准,对单一的和2个同时发射的、用以模拟油中局部放电的压电超声波源进行了定位实验.结果表明,利用该传感器对压电源的定位在传感器正法线处的系统误差小于2%,且能在一次检测中实现多超声波源的定位,故该传感器可以用于变压器中局部放电的定位.
