Dynamic three-dimensional echocardiographic reconstruction of the intact human left ventricle processed automatically by a computer on line is reported in this paper. The circuit which can digitize the images of two-dimensional echocardiogram and transfer the data into a computer are designed. The system of automatic boundary data acquisition can obtain the curve data of the endocardium boundary of left ventricle with the tracing algorithm of the gradient image edge. An entire left endocardium boundary is fitted with the cubic curve interpolation method and the least-square method respectively.The method of three-dimensional reconstruction of the left ventricle from multiple cross sectional echocardiograms and the calculation of the left ventricle feature parameter are discussed.

本文报道了计算机在线重建动态三维超声心动图。介绍了二维图象数字化电路和图象数据传输给计算机的接口。自动边界数据采集系统是用梯度边缘追踪法自动获取左室内膜边界的曲线点,使用三次曲线插值法及最小二乘法拟合整条左室边界曲线。文中探讨了利用二维超声心动图边界重建三维图象的方法和计算左室特征性参数。

Dynamic three-dimensional echocardiographic reconstruction (3D) was compared with radionudeotide techniques for the assessment of left ventricular volume in 10 patients with coronary heart disease. It was found that LVEDVr=0.96, SEE=16.24, LVESV r=0.95, SEE=18.12, LVEF r= 0.85, SEE=0.12; LVSV r=0.64. Thus it can be concluded that 3D is reliable for estimating left ventricular volume.

在17例冠心病患者中,应用动态三维超声心动图(3D)和核素心血池显像测量左室容积和功能。结果显示两种方法的测值呈现高度相关,LVEDV值r=0.957,SEE=16.25ml;LVESV值r=0.967,SEE=18.12ml;LVSV值r=0.672;LVEF值r=0.845,SEE=0.12。表明3D测量左室容积是准确的。

The left ventricular volume ( LVV ) was mcasared by using dynamic three-dimensional echocardiographic reconstruction (3D), and compared with the actual values of LVV in 11 specimens of human heart. The result showed that the correlative coefficient between the two methods was high ( r= 0.9917) 3D can display accurately the actual state of LVV, and is better than two-dimensional echo-cardiography.

用最新的超声心动图动态三维成像(3D)测定了11例人心标本的左心室容积(LVV),并与人心标本的LVV实测值进行了比较。结果发现两者的相关性极好,相关系数(r)为0.9917。3D能准确地反映LVV的实际状态,明显地优于二维超声心动图方法。
