The following assessments were recorded,motile rods and Gram negative rods increased with increase in severity of the periodontal disease,and cocci increased with the resolution of the imflammation.Curettage would cause a decrease of Gram negative rods and an increase of cocci, Chinese herb medicine caused a diminution of spirochetes and motile rods.Numbers of bacteria increased as the PH value of gingival fluid decreased.

采用无菌纸捻吸取法用一种非选择培养基和两种选择性培养基对20例成年型牙周炎病人周袋中细菌进行了厌氧菌培养、分离和鉴定。结果表明厌氧菌的检出率为100%,周袋中菌群主要由厌氧的革兰氏阴性杆菌组成,优势菌群为拟杆菌属,占厌氧菌的51.39%。分离鉴定出的重要菌种有产黑色素拟杆菌、赖氏拟杆菌、口腔拟杆菌、多毛拟杆菌、脆弱拟杆菌、具核梭杆菌、小韦荣氏球菌及厌氧消化链球菌等。
