The concept of network centric warfare (NCW) is introduced. The network resource parameters (NRPs) in Ethernet architecture are analyzed. On the premise of not considering transmission quality and transmission cost, network latency is a key parameter and interrelated with the rest of NRPs and is the function of them. The algorithm of end-to-end network latency and link information in NCW is presented. The algorithm program based on Server/Client architecture is developed. To take an example for 3-node brigade (regiment) NCW architecture, end-to-end network latency is determined and correspondent link information is gained. This paper solves the key issue to determine end-to-end latency in NCW architecture. The study can be widely applied to study QOS routing in NCW architecture.
