A novel method based on reactive Tabu search (RTS) for volt/Var control in electric power distribution systems is proposed, and its comparison with traditional Tabu search (TS) is given. In RTS scheme, the appropriate size of the Tabu list is learned automatically through reactive mechanism, thus the problem of TS's complex parameter tuning for efficient search is resolved. Combined with the escape mechanism, the approach can escape from the local optimum and avoid the probability...

A novel method based on reactive Tabu search (RTS) for volt/Var control in electric power distribution systems is proposed, and its comparison with traditional Tabu search (TS) is given. In RTS scheme, the appropriate size of the Tabu list is learned automatically through reactive mechanism, thus the problem of TS's complex parameter tuning for efficient search is resolved. Combined with the escape mechanism, the approach can escape from the local optimum and avoid the probability of being trapped in large cycle in TS. Results of simulations on two typical distribution systems indicate the invalidity of RTS and its advantages in flexibility and effectiveness over TS.

提出将主动禁忌搜索(RTS)算法用于配电网无功电压优化控制问题的求解,并与传统的禁忌搜索(TS)算法进行了比较。在利用RTS算法的求解过程中,使用了反馈机制,可自动调节禁忌表长度,解决了TS中复杂参数设置与调节的问题;由于结合逃逸策略,使搜索有效地跳出局部极小点,避免了TS中可能出现的大循环。通过在算例中的应用表明,RTS算法非常适合对该问题的求解,比TS具有更好的灵活性和更高的求解效率。
