介绍了基于电接口的大气激光通信系统的工作原理及各部分的组成,测试了光学天线的天线效率以及准直发散角的大小(天线效率约为35%,准直发散角为1.3 m rad),并对系统进行了光功率链路的估算。计算结果表明:所设计的系统完全可以满足2 km内大气传输的要求。在此基础上研制出基于电接口的通过以太网传输的大气激光通信系统。该系统由激光器收发子系统、光学天线子系统以及媒体传输子系统组成,其中为了避免大气湍流,光学天线采用了双路发射、双路接收的形式。此系统可以实现计算机和以太网之间以及2台计算机之间的通信。工作速率为10 M b/s和100 M b/s自适应,工作距离为500 m。
