Through the investigation and measurement of the different area and different forest type of the Great Xingan Mountains forest region, the characteristics of natural restoration of forest and the method of cutting and raising were studi(?)d in this paper. Results showed that: 1. Larix gmelinii, which is the dorminant species of the forest of Great Xingan Mountains, had great ability in natural restoration, it can bear fruit numerously and can resist bad environment. But the effectiveress of its natural restoration was resticteed by its ecological environment. 2. The main way of the natural restosation in cutover was the precutting restoration, the proportion of roadleaf tree increased, the young trees were not even distributed, so the partly artificial planting was needed. 3. The "one time cutting and raising" in operation is not resonable. In area where the condition is better, the proportion of strip clear cutting should be done in the cutover; while in area where the natural restoration was the main way, the "two times thinning cutting" shoud be used. 4. Developing artificial restoration mainly, and use it to promote natural restoration and to combine the two method together, t(?)is is suitible to the condition of the Great Xingan mountains forest.

对大兴安岭林区不同地区和林型的天然更新特点及采育方式进行了研究探讨。结果表明:兴安落叶松(Larix gmelinii)的天然更新能力很强,具有大量结实和抵抗不良环境的能力,更新的好坏在很大程度上受其生态环境的制约。采伐迹地的天然更新特点是以伐前更新为主,阔叶树比重增多,幼树分布不均匀,需人工补植。现行的“一次采育伐”是不合理的,有条件的地方应适当加大等带间隔皆伐的比重,在迹地上人工更新,在依靠天然更新的伐区应以二次渐伐为主。优先发展人工更新,以人工更新和促进天然更新,二者结合的原则恢复森林是适合大兴安岭林区具体情况的。

Botanical surveys were conducted during June 1995 and January 1996 toinvestigate the invasion and establishment of native plant species in plantations. Ten plotswith the areas varying from 200 to 400 m2 were surveyed in three types of plantations,Lophostemon confertus, Acacia confusa, and Schima superba forests. A total of 184 wildgrowing and mostly pioneer species, belonging to 70 families and 139 genera. were found in these plantations. Approximately 42% were tree taxa, representing 20% of the total tree flora...

The most common native species in plantations were bird-dispersed and were also common in natural secondary forests. The Shannon's indices of the surveyed plantations varied from 0 to 2.66, and appeared to increase with age of the plantations. Plantations play an important role in accelerating restoration of forest cover in degraded areas and the development of biodiversity. The ecological function of plantations can be improved by using a combination of fast growing exotic species and bird dispersed native species so as to accelerate succession.

报道了作者于1995年6月至19%年1月期间对香港3种人工林-红胶木林、相思树林、荷树及其混交林林下植物区系调查的初步结果。在10个面积为200-400m2的人工林样方中,共记载了184种非栽培的植物种类,它们分属于70个科139属,其中42%的种类是树木,约占香港树木区系的20%。最常见的植物种类通常具有可以被鸟类传播的小型浆果或核果,它们也是天然次生林中的常见种。这些人工林样方的树木多样性(Shannon指数)在0-2.66之间,随着人工林的年龄增长呈增加的趋势。人工林在加速森林植被的恢复和促进退化地区生物多样性的发展中具有重要的作用,特别是植物种源严重贫乏地区森林植被恢复的重要手段。在营造速生人工林时,适当引入鸟播的野生树种,可加速人工林的自然演替速度和提高人工林的生态效益。

Abstract This article deals with status of destruction of forest soil resources,soil degradation and yield dicline in successive rotations of plantation forests so that the sustainable utilization of the limited forest soil is seriously affected.Many forest scientific workers pay a great attention to this situation.This article also reviews the ways by which the maintainance and restoration of forest soil function and the reasonable utilization and fertility increment can be achieved.

论述了世界范围内森林土壤资源被破坏、人工林地力衰退、产量逐代下降,严重地威胁着人类对有限的森林土壤资源的永续利用、引起广大林业工作者普遍关注的状况。阐述了维护、恢复森林土壤功能,合理地利用森林土壤资源,提高森林土壤生产力的途径。
