Bt L-7601是一株能自然产生黑色素抗紫外线的野生菌株。其黑色素与Sigma 公司标准黑色素(Melanin)的性质相似。细胞经紫外线照射后存活率是不产黑色素的Bt 菌株的17 倍。凡是不加黑色素的样品,经紫外线照射后,晶体蛋白极易被酶降解,发酵液的杀虫活力明显降低。证明Bt L-7601 菌株所产的黑色素对杀虫晶体蛋白有很好的紫外保护作用。
