The principl of the roll gap gauge developed by Xian Heavy Machinery Researh Institute is:(1)check the variation of bearing chock position of working roll, a way of measuring roll gap indirectly;(2)check the displacement of working roll neck, also a way of measuring roll gap indirictly. Yhe resolutino is ±0 0006mm.The gauge has beehn used in eight sets of closed loop controls of hydraulic AGC roll gap position for four high reversing strip mill.

First the sim′s rolling force function is simplified to a simple function of pass reduction. By using the simple function, the influence of mill stiffness difference between driveside and operationside on rolling force distribution is researched. By using the simple function, the influence of mill stiffness difference between driveside and operationside on rolling force distribution is researched. It is deduced that when the stiffness difference is not big, the integration of the rolling force distribution curve before and after the tilting of the roll is equal and the roll gap position of rolling line center is invariable. The fitting method of stiffness curve was given. With the fitting stiffness curve the influence of bilateral stiffness difference on gapsetting can be easily avoided. Using the fitting curve as virtual gaugemeter, the pass exit thickness can also be easily calculated.

中厚板轧机两侧刚度的差异会导致轧制过程中轧辊发生倾斜,给辊缝的设定带来困难。为此,作者首先将Sim′s轧制力公式简化成道次压下量的简单函数,然后利用该函数分析了中厚板轧机驱动侧和操作侧的刚度差异引起的轧辊倾斜对轧制力分布的影响。发现:如果轧机两侧刚度差异不大,则轧辊倾斜前后的轧制力分布曲线的积分值相等,而且轧制中心线的辊缝位置基本没有变化。根据该结论给出了实测刚度曲线的拟合方法,利用该拟合曲线进行辊缝设定可以避免刚度差异带来的影响。另外,还可将该拟合曲线作为虚拟测厚仪来计算轧件的道次出口厚度。
