Chemical fiber tail wastewater was treated by facultative anaerobe-PACT process, when the influent COD was 250~450mg/L,the effluent COD≤100mg/L and removal rate reached to over 80%; various indexes could meet the first class standard in the national Sewage Comprehensive Discharge Standard (GB8978-1996).
The reactor operated continuously for 30d,the effluent COD and NH3-N lowered to below100 mg/L and 10mg/L respectively,reaching the national first class discharge standard of chemical fiber wastewater.
It points out that China will be more open to overseas after its entry to WTO, in the beginning of new century national man made fiber industry have acquired great achivements and will have a bright prospect.
