Problems concerned, including the discovering of entities to be migrated, the coordinating of different migrating requests, and the performing of migrating, are all studied in detail. The experiment under HLA/*$RTI validates the study.

The shortcomings of the high level architecture (HLA), when dealing with this issue, are presented, and the ad hoc approaches for an HLA-compliant federate to move entities are analyzed. A protocol used to move entities under HLA?RTI is introduced, then its implementation issues are thoroughly discussed, including the starting of the migration, the entity state transfer mechanism, the message...

Entity migration can help to sustain large scale, long running distributed simulations. The shortcomings of the high level architecture (HLA), when dealing with this issue, are presented, and the ad hoc approaches for an HLA-compliant federate to move entities are analyzed. A protocol used to move entities under HLA?RTI is introduced, then its implementation issues are thoroughly discussed, including the starting of the migration, the entity state transfer mechanism, the message relaying and processing logic. The executing framework of the protocol is also presented. Experiments prove the feasibility of this protocol. Compared with relative studies, this approach can avoid missing messages during migration, and guarantee the correct message process sequence.

实体迁移技术有利于改善大规模分布式仿真系统的性能.首先分析了新一代仿真体系结构HLARTI对实体迁移支持上的不足和现有HLA兼容型仿真系统中实体迁移实现方法的缺陷;然后提出了在HLARTI下进行实体迁移的协议,设计了实体最新状态传输机制、迁移启动机制、迁移期间的消息转发、处理机制等;给出了协议的执行过程和支持实体迁移的仿真应用程序的实现框架;最后测试了协议的正确性.与相关研究相比,迁移协议解决了迁移过程中时间同步问题,不会丢失消息,且能保证TSO消息按时戳序处理.
