During a cardiac cycle, the mean circumferential stress in the inner and outer wall only relates to the mean pressure, and the pulsatile stress value is mainly connected with the pulsatile pressure. The change of mean pressure has some influence to the pulsatile value in the inner wall, and little influence in the outer wall.
