The strength of pure corundum was tested.The result shows that the bending strength and impact toughness of the material are greatly enhanced. The bending strength of samples treated by Cr_2O_3+CrCl_3 is increased by 43%, the impact toughness is increased by 47%.By means of scanning electron microscope, electron probe microanalysis and X-ray diffraction, the chemical mechanism of strengthening of pure corundum was studied.It is considered that the coefficient of expansion of the newly formed material in the surface layer is less than that of the original body after chemical treatment.After cooling, compressive stress is formed in the surface layer, and the stress distribution on the cross section of ceramics is improved.The existence of the compressive stress in the surface layer is the main reason for the strengthening of ceramics. At the same time the nearly formed grains in the surface layer are very fine. It is also a main reason for the strengthening of ceramics that the fine grains will fill in the interstices between crystals in the surface layer of ceramics and the effect of stress concentration will be weakend.

本文作者采用H.P.Kirchnet介绍的方法:把瓷体埋在Co_2O_3或Cr_2O_3粉末中,经过高温使瓷体在表面上反应,生成尖晶石以及使低膨胀系数的氧化物在瓷体表面上沉积,使纯刚玉瓷获得化学增强。 结果表明:瓷体的抗折强度、冲击韧性都有较大的提高。其中用Cr_2O_3+CrCl_3处理的试样,其抗折强度提高了42.96%,冲击韧性提高了46.93%。 借助于SEM、EPMA及X射线衍射仪,对纯刚玉瓷的化学增强机理进行探讨。认为;经化学方法处理后新形成的表层物质的膨胀系数比主体的小,冷却时在其表面形成压应力,改善了瓷体截面的应力分布状况。表层压应力的存在是瓷体增强的一个主要原因。同时新形成的表面晶粒细小,细晶粒对瓷体表面晶粒间进行充填,减弱了表面微裂纹尖端应力集中的效应,成为瓷体增强的另一原因。

The relation of the two dimension diameter of the particles and the temperature of the cylinder, the water content of the materials, particle size, the kind of the materials and etc. was also analysised. In view of the present result, the particles combination model of the biomass materials compressing in the cylinder was proposed.

对植物材料压缩成型时粒子的变形及结合形式进行了研究。通过对玉米秸秆等几种农林废弃物的压缩成型、观察测量粒子的二向平均径,研究了二向平均径和各成型条件的关系,给出了植物材料压缩成型过程中粒子的微观结合模型,并运用该模型合理地解释了压缩成型中的一些疑问。
