According to the physical characteristics of PIN diode and the need of T/R co located HF ground wave radar, a T/R switch circuit was developed for the phased array of OSMAR2000 HF ground wave radar. The phased array is thus realized transmitting and receiving bi functional, and by doing so the array area occupation and investment on the radar is both considerably reduced. The wide band T/R switch operates under the control of double time duration and bi polar pulses, which lead to a simple, high efficient circuitry and well shaped waveform. The switch's stabilization and credibility has been observed in the radar's operation. Phased array antenna are widely applied in mid and long range HF ground wave radar (HFGWR) systems which are used to sense sea state remotely. To achieve high sensitivity and precision, array aperture normally reaches as large as several hundred or several thousand meters. For example, the Canadian HF GWR system located at Newfoundland has a 880 m phased receiving array containing 40 monopoles, and a 40 m high log periodical transmitting antenna. It is by far not easy to find a suitable seaside site for such kind system. Reducing array size is critical in the practical application of HFGWR. Co using the same antenna both as transmitting and receiving antenna is an effective means to reduce array size. The technique has been applied in the OSMAR2000 HFGWR system developped under the 818 01 02 key project in the national 863 plans. OSMAR2000 has realized real time surveillence of surface currents, waveheight and wind field out to 200 km. Gated pulses control the role shifting of an antenna between transmitting and receiving, where it is linked reliably to the transmitter and isolated from the receiver during transmitting period, then linked to the receiver and isolated from the transmitter during receiving period. The T/R switch is a key component in OSMAR2000.

The phased-array Doppler log has several advantages, such as small size of array and no need of compensation for sound velocity. From the array theory, a phased receiving and wide-band phase-shift scheme for this kind of Doppler log is proposed in this paper. The feasibility of a built phase receiving system was proved by an experiment.

A new partial discharge(PD)location method based on UHF and ultrasonic phased array receiving theory is presented. The plane sensor is consisted of two phased receiving arrays, which respectively receive UHF and ultrasonic signals emitted by partial discharge. Regarding the time point of signal detected by the UHF phased receiving array as time benchmark, the time delay of ultrasonic signals received by acoustic phased receiving array can be obtained and the distance between PD source and the sensor can be calculated, then the PD dimensional position can be found out using the azimuth and elevation angle at which the phased receiving arrays scan. Because PD sources of different space positions lead to different space angles of beam combination representing corresponding maximum PD signal, and to different time benchmark compared to the same sampling initial point and different time delay, the locating of multiple PD sources can be reached. Several examples of PD in oil are simulated using this novel location method and the results indicate the method can locate the PD in oil and solve the location of multiple PD sources.

提出一种基于超高频和超声波相控接收阵的局部放电定位法。该方法以分别检测局部放电产生的超高频和超声波信号的相控接收阵构成平面传感器,以超高频相控接收阵检测到的局部放电超高频电磁波信号作为时间基准,由此得出接收到的超声波信号的时延,进而计算出放电点与传感器间的距离;再根据相控阵扫描的方位角和仰角,与算出的距离一起就可得出局部放电源的几何位置。多个空间位置不同的局部放电,其产生的最大信号所处的对应于空间角度的波束阵列的位置不同,相对于同一采样起始点的时间基准不同,而且时间间隔也不同,因此还可实现多局放源的定位。对这一设想进行仿真研究,结果表明该方法能对油中局部放电进行较精确的定位,并可较好地解决多局放点定位问题。
