In this paper, the existing definition oi strong ground motion duration is reviewed and re-classified into two different categories:record-based duration which was directly defined upon ground motion accelerograms and response-based duration which was defined upon the structure response subjected to ground acceleration. A conception and definition of engineering duration of earthquake ground motion is proposed, and its predicting equations are deduced. The engineering duration is clear in conception, simple in calculation, easy in establishing the relations with other existing record-based durations, and convenient in formulating the predicting equation by fully using the existing ones. Because the defined engineering duration is related directly to both seismic and structural parameters, it can much better reflect both the characteristics of earthquake ground motion and its effects en the seismic damage of structure than any definition presented ever before.

本文将现有地震动持时定义区分为记录持时和反应持时两种,并对其优、缺点进行了评述。文中提出了地震动工程持时的概念和定义,并推导出工程持时的预报方程。工程持时具有概念清晰直观和计算简便的特点,预报方程既与主要地震参数、又与主要结构参数相关联,既能客观地描述地震动的持时特征,又能满意地给出地震动持时对结构地震破坏的影响,同时它的预报方程可以方便地实现与其它持时的预报方程之间的转换,广泛地利用已有的持时预报结果。

An earthquake damage prediction method of structures is presented in this paper using the principle of information distribution and fuzzy deduction. This method considers not only theoretical calculation of earthquake response of structure but also fuzzy character of earthquake damage of structure. As an example, the author analysed fuzzy relationship between earthquake response and earthquake damage of brick column single story factory building in the area with intensity of Ⅷ during Tangshan earthquake 1976. The result indicates that the method for earthquake damage prediction of structure suggested in this paper may reach minimum error. In the case of lack of data the fuzzy relation could be extended to other earthquake intensity district.

本文运用信息分配原理和模糊近似推理方法,提出了一个利用结构地震反应进行地震震害预测的方法。该方法既考虑了结构地震反应的理论计算,又充分正视了现有震害资料具有模糊性的特点,粗细结合,较为合理。作为实例,本文分析了唐山地震Ⅷ度区砖柱单层厂房地震反应与震害的模糊关系。研究结果表明,用本文提供的方法进行震害预测,可以使误差大大减小。在资料缺乏的情况下,作为近似估计,还可将模糊关系的烈度范围进行扩展。

On the basis of the macroscopic failure of the structures for the concentrating mill at Tongguanshen Copper Mine, Combined techniques were used for reinforcement of retaining walls in the inside of the building, including the prestress anchor, anchor piles, concrete supporting beams, and remedial measures against the damage of structures and their foundation utilizing the anchoring force of strata under the conditions of continuous production.The engineering practice shows that these techniques can effectively prevent the structures and their foundation from failure and ensure the safe production of the mill.

本文针对铜官山饲矿选厂构筑物宏观破坏特征,阐述了在选厂持续生产条件下,采用预应力锚杆、锚轩桩和预预力锚杆井字形混凝土支承梁综合技术加固厂房内侧挡墙以及利用地层锚固力治理厂房地基构筑物损害的研究结果。工程实践表明:该项技术能有效防治构筑物破坏,确保选厂正常生产,取得明显加固效果。
